You may have seen pictures of new home on Facebook, but we took those pictures before we moved in.  A faraway friend asked for moved-in pictures so she can imagine our family actually living there.  So here's a glimpse at our not-clean, sort-of-moved-in, lots of stuff still to be done home.

Cheekwood Scarecrows

One of our favorite things each fall is visiting the scarecrows at Cheekwood.  This year was no exception.

Fall 2012

Fall brought purging, packing boxes and many trips to Goodwill as we sold one house and bought another.  In between, we snuck in a trip to a pumpkin patch.

Summer 2012 brought ballet, Barefoot Republic Camp for Anna and Bekah and lots of Fun Jar activities.  Some highlights:

May 2012

As soon as school ended, we hit the road for Philadelphia.  This was our first family trip to a large city and we learned a lot (about our nation's history and how to travel well with children in tow).

April 2012

In April, our family took a weekend away to visit Gatlinburg.  It provided some much needed time away and while the tourism of the area is a sharp contrast to the beautiful vistas, the girls enjoyed every minute of it.
